The friendliest dang pizza around.
From a tiny alleyway garden window in Chicago’s Ukrainian... Welcome to the world of Pizza Friendly Pizza!
What began as a solution for hungry patrons inside of the Empty Bottle—a beloved 35-year old dive bar on Chicago’s west side specializing in live music and historically cheap draft beers—has evolved into one of Chicago’s most talked about restaurants.
Opening in the summer of 2020, Pizza Friendly Pizza is a casual neighborhood eatery specializing in slingin’ Sicilian slices, fresh salads, crunchy breadsticks, and whole pizza pies. Brought to you by 16” On Center in partnership with Noah Sandoval of Oriole, Kumiko & Kikkoo, who’s 5-day fermented dough is at the heart of this Sicilian treat.

The 20 Best Pizza Places In Chicago
“Pizza Friendly Pizza in Ukrainian Village sells Sicilian pan-style pizza by the slice (you can also pre-order a full pie) and it’s f*cking fantastic. The thick crust is incredibly light and airy with a slight sourdough-y flavor, and the tomato sauce is rich and spicy.”
